Computer-vision rider assistance for bicycles · Singapore

• Co-founded the company behind an onboard computer-vision device that warns cyclists of hazards — shipped in 3 countries on $50k from Kickstarter in one month.
• Won the IES Prestigious Engineering Achievement Award 2024 — Singapore’s national engineering honor, one of only 7 projects recognized nationwide, alongside government agencies and research institutes.
• Pioneered car-grade collision avoidance for bicycles — detection that normally needs a car’s onboard computer, made to run on a lightweight, battery-powered device mounted to a bike. Patent pending.
• Led the engineering team through 20+ release cycles as CTO.

DJI Enterprise partner · custom drone solutions · Singapore

• Owned the autonomous flight stack on DJI enterprise drones as tech lead — auto takeoff, auto landing, and mission autonomy on the DJI SDK, shipped to customers across 18 countries.
• Shipped the software for Volarious tethered drones, persistent-flight UAVs flown by police and search-and-rescue teams — ~$1M revenue in five months across 91 US clients.
• Built the core flight frameworks in Kotlin and C++, running on the DJI Mobile SDK aboard the aircraft’s Android-based remote controllers.
• Engineered real-time people and vehicle tracking at 30 FPS, achieving a 99.5% success rate in autonomous security operations.
